Gisella Milla
Soprano

Gisella Milla is a Peruvian soprano praised for her vocal strength and emotional depth. She recently performed Mrs. Gobineau in The Medium at the Opera Festival of Chicago and portrayed Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz in With Blood, With Ink. Her other notable roles include Suor Angelica and La Calisto, and she has collaborated with Transgressive Theatre Opera and the New Berry Consort. Gisella has trained internationally, participating in programs such as AIMS in Austria, Orvieto Musica in Italy, and Masterclass Ischia. She holds a Master’s degree from Northeastern Illinois University and is an alumna of The Chicago College of Performing Arts. Gisella has earned recognition in numerous competitions, including 3rd Prize in the London Classical Music Competition and 2nd Prize in the New York Classical Music Competition. As a Semifinalist in the 2016 Meistersinger Competition and the 2021 Camerata Bardi International Voice Competition, she continues to gain recognition in the opera world. Gisella looks forward to expanding her career and sharing her passion for music with audiences worldwide.
